Alan was born in Lantana, Florida and later moved to Loxahatchee, Florida were he grew up.  As a child, Alan became part of the Boys Scout Organization and spent most of his adult life as a Scout leader. During this time, Alan attended Florida Atlantic University and decided to move to Boynton Beach where he settled down and married his wife Donna.  Together the couple has a son Jeremy, who also followed his father’s footsteps and is currently an Eagle Scout. 

Alan started working for UPS in November 1979.  In January 1981, he became a full-time driver and an alternate shop steward.  Alan later became a feeder driver and has now held that position for over sixteen years. 

Alan has served as a trustee for Teamsters Local Union 769 for over twenty years. He also serves on the Central Labor Committee for the AFL-CIO of West Palm Beach. Alan has been elected as a delegate for the past three years for the Teamsters Conventions. Alan enjoys representing Teamsters in every capacity and believes that together we can reach any goal.

Alan plans within the next three to four years to retire and relocate with his family to Tennessee. He thanks his Teamsters family and friends and most of all the members of Teamsters Local Union 769.
