Was
born
and
raised
in
Newark,
New
Jersey.
He
attended
high
school
in
Kearny,
New
Jersey
and
after
completing
high
school,
Bill
joined
the
United
States
Navy.
After
four
years
of
service,
Bill
left
the
Navy
with
an
honorable
discharged.
Bill
followed
in
his
father
and
brothers’
footsteps
and
became
a
truck
driver.
The
trio
later
became
part
of
Teamsters
Local
282.

In
1969,
Bill
married
his
wife
Carolyn
and
in
1980,
the
couple
moved
to
South
Florida.
Bill
became
a
ready-mix
driver
with
Rinker
Materials
and
joined
Teamsters
Local
769.
In
1993,
he
was
elected
shop
steward
and
in
1995,
he
was
appointed
as
one
of
the
local’s
trustees
by
former
President
Tony
Cannestro.
